Marian Thomas would like to introduce the Executive Committee of Digital Divas.  These amazing women from the digital community volunteered their time and expertise to help make our event and site an amazing experience for all.

sara2Sara Bordo has worked in marketing and advertising for over 10 years including The Estee Lauder Companies in NY, GSD&M in Austin, DDB in Chicago and Paramount Pictures in Hollywood.  Sara currently head’s up MGM’s Digital Marketing team and sits on two non-profit boards but mentoring young women in their career is something that is permanent on her resume.

 
 
 
 

digitaldivasbio_megan3Megan Chan is a Senior Digital Planner working on the Hyundai account at Initiative.  After graduating from UCLA, she went off to pursue a career in digital marketing and promotions at New Line Cinema, but later found her passion in media buying and planning once she moved to Initiative to work on the Lionsgate business.  Besides digital media, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and finding new foods to explore.

Mitsko Chisholm is a veteran of the online media industry and a true expert in the field of entertainment media planning. Since 2000 she has planned and executed campaigns for Warner Home Video, New Line Cinema, Lionsgate, Fox, DreamWorks, HBO and Sony Pictures.  Mitsko is currently working on her biggest challenge yet – being a first time mom.

 
 
 
 

rhonda2Rhonda Hamilton started in the business working at Premiere Radio Networks, and gradually made her way over to Moxie Interactive handling planning/buying for Verizon Wireless. Eventually moving back to Los Angeles to work at Starcom as the Media Supervisor for Disney Theatrical. She’s been in the industry since 1998, and still loves what she does while finding time for beach volleyball, skateboarding and most things outdoors.

kim2Kim Lockhart, a certified Singles Dating Expert who specializes in high-achieving women, teaches communication workshops to men and women about how to successfully connect with the opposite sex. Along with Luis Santiago, Kim is also the co-founder of Mix It Up LA, a social club for professionals in Los Angeles. Their dating workshops offer invaluable insights which can be applied to professional situations, social events and of course, the LA dating scene!

 

anita-33Anita Manglani Mawji began her professional career in finance, later parlayed her experience into on-line advertising sales. After leaving Yahoo! in 2003 she followed her dreams of being a Yoga teacher while also focusing on her entrepreneurial spirit. She is currently developing a T-shirt line that evokes social conscience and contributes to healing the environment. To love what she does has been a rule she follows.  Her hobbies include, cooking, music, learning, teaching, dancing, traveling, hiking and seeing the beauty in everything that surrounds her.

Amy Saruwatari is an Executive Assistant in media sales at Yahoo! in Santa Monica. She joined the company in 2005, and prior to Yahoo! worked as a Marketing Manager at executive recruitment firm, Korn/Ferry International.

 
 
 
 

steph-headshot2Stephanie Yang has been in PR/Communications for the last 7 seven years, enamored with new media after working on the digital campaign for The Lord of the Rings film franchise.  Since then, she’s been a ‘chic geek’ working at New Line Cinema, MySpace, and most recently, Betawave.  She is also a board member of Bay Area Interactive Group (BIG), one of the country’s largest digital marketing professional associations.

After graduating in 1995, she has worked at several boutique agencies, including The Artime Group in Pasadena at which she was the Design Director. After having her second child in 2003 she decided to leave the office world to work from home. Six years later, she continues to work as a successful freelance designer whose main source of business has been through client referrals or word-of-mouth, without having the need to advertise. Specializing in logo creation, branding, website design and visual collateral, she has clients ranging from individuals to mid-size businesses. Lisa is known for her clean design style and unique ability to capture the essence of a brand through visual language, making the intangible tangible. She is currently in the process of developing a website for her company, LMSARK Design.

As a consultant, Sally assists her clients in reaching their targets through cutting-edge placements for enhanced media exposure. Sally’s former client roster includes leading brands such as Hertz, L’Oreal Paris, Finlandia Vodka, Johnson & Johnson OTC brands, Stein Mart, Bright House Networks and the Peabody Hotel. She also served as senior product marketing manager at Nielsen Netratings, leading their global AdRelevance service. Sally is one of the founders of the Internet Oldtimer’s Foundation.
